This project of expression was created when yours truly were separated. Astria moved all the way to Los Angeles to pursue a Master's in Social Work at the University of Southern California, and Gabrielle aka Gabbi moved to Atlanta to begin her doctoral program for physical therapy at Georgia State University. We are opinionated, motivated, and dynamic friends who would love to offer our experiences, musings, and coast to coast adventures with you as we nurture our friendship from afar.
Who said what?
As individuals, we both bring unique flavor to the content of the site. Gabbi will be the one offering you awesome information on everything from exercise motivation and technique (she is studying to be a physical therapist after all!), to beauty trends, to the best made-from-scratch delectable recipes, and Astria's posts will be the ones you're looking for if you want a taste of poetry, opinions on social issues (three cheers for social work!), and advice about navigating through life while holding your sanity dear. But of course, with all great friendships, there are commonalities=). So every once in awhile, the contributions of your oh-so-charming authors will overlap in their topics. Not to fret though! All posts will have a signature to let you know who said what!

About Us
Astria Gafford grew up as an "army brat" traveling with her family around the country and overseas until attending college at the University of Georgia. With a major in psychology and a minor in African American studies, Astria graduated with her bachelor's degree in May 2014. She is now pursuing a Master's in Social Work at the University of Southern California. She enjoys poetry, Italian food, and is a proud fan of The Young & The Restless.
Gabrielle Stevens hails from the suburbs of Atlanta and attended the University of Georgia. After countless chants of "glory glory to ol'Georgia" she graduated in May 2013 with a bachelor's of science in psychology. Now she attends Georgia State University pursuing a doctoral degree in physical therapy. Nail polish, traveling, and cooking are some of her favorite things.
